If form is cleared, conditionally required still remains as required.Asked by bdoodle on March 11, 2015 at 11:46 AM
If I enter a number in any of my sail number fields, the corresponding sail number color field is conditionally required. If someone enters a number in one of these fields without entering a number color and then hits Submit Form, you properly get an error. If the customer then hits Clear Form, the sail number color field that was required before the Clear Form remains required even though the sail number was cleared out. (If you click in the empty sail number field, the requirement for sail number color goes away.) I'm guessing that this is the case for any conditionally required fields.
In fact, you can see all the required fields at this point with a red boundary. The Clear Form button should really clear all these requirements even though the unconditionally required fields don't present a problem. The red boundaries should not appear on a cleared form.
The form is:
I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
Yes it seem you are correct. When the form is cleared through clear button, the conditionally required still remains as required but actually it should be unrequired automatically.
Let me report this to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update form them.
