Yes, I understand how the attachments system works. I suppose I should have clearer. No link is placed within the email either. It is only stored in my Submissions folder. Could this be a setting in my email alert?

If you use file upload field on your form, the uploaded file/s will not be shown as a 'file attachment' in the Notification email. Instead, the file can be downloaded through a link.
This also the same when you go to My Forms / Submissions page. The submissions for your form will include the link to the uploaded file in the submissions.

Files uploaded to your form can now be sent as attachment on email notifications. Please give it a try and let us know if you have any feedback:
