Questions about connection security / Google Chrome

Hi,

I'm using Google Chrome. When I go to JotForm's homepage, a yellow triangle appears over the "padlock" before the URL in the address bar. When I click on the yellow triangle it says, "Your connection to www.jotform.com is encrypted with modern cryptography. However, this page includes other resources which are not secure. These resources can be viewed by others while in transit, and can be modified by an attacker to change the look of the page."

Can you please explain what this means? Which "other resources" are not secure?

I notice that when I log into JotForm, the triangle disappears briefly, the padlock turns green, and then the yellow triangle reappears. Why does that happen?

That's a general warning and you should disregard it. It is usually shown when the site doesn't have all the elements under the security layer (encrypted)

However, this is not necessary to build the forms, what you must do is to go the general link https://www.jotform.com/,   instead of  https://www.jotform.com

If you want to embed the forms once you finish building it, using our security layer, then all you need to do is to use the secure embed method, here is how:

1. Click on the "Embed Form" button on the top toolbar

2. Check the "Secure Form" box in the Form Embed Wizard and choose your preferred Form Embed Method

You will notice that the form URL is  changed to https://secure.jotform.co/...
