I have conditions defiined that show my textarea (input_263) field when colors are defined improperly in my spinnaker color sections.  This textarea is readonly and has default text representing an error message.  When I submit my form when this textarea is shown on the screen, it does not appear in the resulting email.  I changed this to a textarea from text field just so it would appear on email.  Am I doing something wrong?

    Form is http://www.jotform.com//?formID=50455070789158#

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Upon checking your form, I'm not sure if I understand it fully. But I do see that you have conflicting rules in your conditions.

You're having "AND" for one field not being equal to. Although, I'm not sure if this will cause a problem, but I would advise that you separate those rules.

Also, could you give us a sample steps on how to reproduce the problem, could you tell us what color count, what selection in the spinnaker, or anything that would help us reproduce the problem. We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you.

Another observation, this might be more related to the cause of the problem.

It seems that if you did not add a label or question name for the textarea field, it might cause displaying problems in your email notification.

After adding a label, you'll see that in the email notification in the list of form fields that textarea field.

See if that helps solve the problem. If the textarea field shows in your email, then we can use a custom CSS code to hide the label in the live form when viewed.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you.

I labeled the textarea and then made it hidden.  Works fine.

    Thank you!
