I've used the paypal pro widget. When i did a test run the first card I tried "amex" returned a currency issue. The next "Mastercard" returned invalid configuration, yet when I completed the API details and hit the test button it came back fine.
I'm trying to contact paypal but there phone system is pants, just one elongated voice message after another....
Any help will be gratefully received.
I do apologize for the issue that you are experiencing with your PayPal Pro integration.
Based on the information you have provided, it appears that there would need to be adjustments made within your PayPal account, as well as their maybe some limitations on your account as well.
Could you provide us with the complete error messages that your have been receiving and we would be happy to provide you with more details.
Please see attached, the cards used are both current and used all the time, in store and online.
The first error message displayed is shown because you are not able to process your desired currency using that card time as it is not supported. Paypal does not support charging GBP to a American Express card.
The second error message is due to the billing agreement is disabled or inactive. This means that you have not activated the billing agreement within your PayPal account.
