PayPal Pro: "Invalid merchant configuration error" is shown when my form is submitted

    Hello,

    when people attempt to pay on the form the following errors come up:

    Invalid Configuration
    This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.
     
    and
     
     Transaction refused because of an invalid argument. See additional error messages for details.
     
    We have people signing up and we need this fixed ASAP. Please let me know how to remedy this today.

    I checked your form and it worked for the PayPal option.

    I presume that you're receiving the error message when the credit card option is selected in which case you need to make sure that your PayPal account is Pro and not a Business account since this option is only available for Pro accounts.

    If your account is a Business account then you need to use either the PayPal or PayPal Express options.
