    How do I sync Forms to my Act-On account?

    Asked by Joe  on March 27, 2015 at 01:27 PM

    Hello !

    I am trying to have the data collected from this form be transferred to my Act-On marketing account. The code is below

    <script type="text/javascript">
     var aoProtocol = location.protocol;
     if ( aoProtocol.indexOf('http') < 0 ) aoProtocol = 'http:';
     var aoCAP = {
     aid: '14472',
     fid: '000b',
     did: 'd-0001',
     server: 'info.acsprostaffing.com',
     formId: '50844804636156',
     protocol: aoProtocol
     };
     document.write( '<script type="text/javascript" src="'+aoCAP.protocol+'//'+aoCAP.server+'/acton/js/formcap.min.js"><'+'/script>' );

    </script>

    The formId is the JotForm ID.

    On Act-On, I need to create a hidden form to refer to, but the "FIELD NAMES" need to match identically.

    What is the field name for my form? Is it the ID or the Name? And the name says {firstName}. Do I remove the brackets or keep them?

    Thanks!

    The field name for your form is the Name. In this example the name is {fullname1}(keep the brackets), and the IDs for the field are #first_1, #last_1:

    You might like to review this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/146-How-to-find-Field-IDs-Names

    I noticed that your form: http://www.jotform.us/form/50844804636156, is hosted in a guest account, a guest account is basically a guest session. Please note that a guest session relies in your browsers cache, what ever happens to it, you form may get lost or purge.

    Please register a free account at www.jotform.com, and do get back to us with the account username to transfer the form if  it is not automatically carried over.
