How do I embed your code into WidgetChimp (eBay listing template builder)?

Asked by Paul Collins  on March 27, 2015 at 06:43 PM

I am trying to get a product personalisation form into my eBay listings. I have a tool called Widget Chimp that I am using to create the listing templates. I would like to use JotForm to create the forms. I would like the JotForm to appear in a pop-up box over the top of the eBay listing when a button is pressed on the eBay listing.

Widget Chimp supports the inclusion of custom Javascript / CSS code into the eBay listing. This feature is described in this short YouTube video:

    " rel="nofollow noopener">Widget Chimp - Custom Code video

I have tried but not succeeded to do this on a test eBay listing.

Please can you advise me what I need to do to make this work.

I did try searching any HTML editor besides the custom code widget they have, and it seems it does not support any html on it:

So, my guess is that WidgetChimp does not have this type of capability.

Thanks for getting back to me. Widget Chimp does have an HTML editor, it is within the Custom Message widget (see  )
As I see it I need JotForm code in 3 chunks. 1) Javascript, 2) CSS and 3) HTML which provides the button to link to the JotForm.
I can privately give you my Widget Chimp login if you need it.
    Thanks for helping.

    Hi Paul.

Based on a quick look it seems to require additional JS to be displayed.

Now this means that you should be able to add it using our js embed option: Which Form Embed Code Should I Use?

If that does not work properly for some reason I would suggest using our iframe code (first with and then without the script part): How to get the jotform iFrame Code

Do let us know how it goes.
