Does the referrer widget work with all the embed options like lightbox, iframe, popup etc?

    I need to have the URL of the referral page as our forms will be on multiple websites. If I use the referrer widget does it matter which embed option I use? I prefer the popup option but would like to know which option is best for using the referrer widget.

    1) If I use the popup to embed the form on a website will the referrer widget show the URL for the website the form is placed on or will it show the URL that is at the top of the form https://secure.jotform.us..........?

    2) Where do I see the the referrer URL? Does it show up somewhere on the submission I receive by email?

    Hi,

    Feel free to post your questions to us, we'll be glad to help. Here are my answers to your questions:

    I believe the Get referrer widget should still get the URL to where the form is embedded. You can try it, I've tested it in my end using the pop-up embed form and it captures the website link where it is embedded.

    2) Where do I see the the referrer URL? Does it show up somewhere on the submission I receive by email?

    You can add the referrer URL in the email notification. In my end it's named "Referrer" in the form fields:
