    Text area field adding space when enter key is pressed

    All the text area fields appear to be providing a large amount of space on the email notifications. 

     

    Here is the form I am referring to that seems to be having the problem: https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/21134216896959

    The fields for Department Location, for example, have a lot of space on them in the email: 

     

    I did a test and mine worked fine. The staff member who receives the notifications says some of them work and some don't. They have been sent from numerous departments, so it is not one person who might be hitting return too much. I have adjusted the rows and limited most of them to 3 or 4. Not sure if this will change anything.

    It appears my issue may be related to this issue of people not being able to hit enter: http://www.jotform.com/answers/543705-Textarea-field-Cursor-not-moving-to-a-new-line-when-pressing-enter-key?entrymessage=10732640770

     

    I asked one of the staff who filled out a form and she said she just kept hitting the space bar to get to the next line. That explains all the space! 

     

    I saw another post similar to the one above, so I assume it is something your developer team is looking into. 

     

    This just seemed to start today, FYI.

    Yes. The issue with the spacing when enter key is pressed is already been forwarded to our development team to take a look.

    The issue doesn't seem to be happen with Chrome, but with FireFox and Internet Explorer from my end. I'm also forwarding this thread to our next level support team to take a look at the issue.

    You'll be posted through the thread once we have any update on the issue.
