Account Type - sub-user

My account is currently a Sub User account.  How can I make my account a normal account.  My account was made from the account above me and he is no longer active and is not paying for Premium $9.95 account.  Therefore, all his forms are above the quota and no longer active until the end of the month.

Whenever I click create new form, it makes a form under his name that is "shared" with me.  How can I make a form under my name so I can pay the $9.95 so my forms are not locked out?  I see an option to upgrade my account to a paid account but I was afraid that I would still be a sub-user and not allowed to create my own forms.

A year went by and still no answer from you.  Some support JotForm has.

My apologies, occasionally threads can be forgotten.  In any case, if you would like to change your account to a Free/Started account, rather than a sub-account, in the account settings page, click up upgrade/downgrade under the Free account:

This should change your account to a Free account.

After that, any forms created in the "My Forms" section of your account, not in the folder shared with you, will be created in your own account.

You can also clone any forms you would like to your own account using the URL:
