Hello,
I have a question on security from a public/private standpoint. Are all your forms searchable on the web after they have been created within the system? And are all your forms accessible via a preview URL, http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50606043982959 without any authentication? If so, is there anyway to alter these settings?
I have a customer that has a password protected page that I want to embed a JotForm form into however I have concerns that the form is accessible outside of this password protected environment. Can you please elaborate on this for me.
Thanks,
Marc

Hi,
Yes, forms are accessible via the preview link publicly. There is not currently a way to alter these settings. If someone does have a link to your form, it will be accessible from outside the password protected page.
Unfortunately, JotForm has no password protect feature yet.
However, you may want to consider this alternative method"
1. Create a textbox for the code to access the form. I would recommend using a field labeled "code" or "access code". Keep in mind, using a field labeled "password" will result in our system suspending your account. We do not allow for the collection of passwords through our form and our system will interpret a password field as phishing.
2. Add a Form Collapse field after the code.
Set the "Visibility" to "Hidden"
Set the "Status" to "Open"3. Go to "Setup & Embed" and click "Conditions" to access the "Conditions Wizard"
Choose "Shoe/Hide a form field" and click Next
4. Use this condition. When the user types "Awx113!" as the code it will immediately show the Form-Collapse field along any field below it. Thus, simulates the hiding of all form items until the code is correct.
This will only allow access to the full form if the user has the code to show the rest of it.
