Multiple file upload button is missing text

I have a form started and a file upload button on, with "Allow Multiple" enabled.  There is a single large button, but there is no text on the button saying what to do.  In the properties, I can see where I specify what the text should say.  Right now it's set to "Upload a File".  But nothing shows up.
