Hi Sayan,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You need to add a Form Calculation Widget and assign values to your dropdown options to be able to sum the dropdown values. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, select your Dropdown field.
- Go to the Options tab, scroll down, and toggle On the Calculation Values.
- Set the prices on the Box.
After that, you can the Form Calculation Widget and create a formula to add the total amount of the selected items on the dropdown. Here's how to do it:
- In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element.
- Go to the Widgets tab.
- Add the Form Calculation Widget.
- Click on the Wand icon.
- Add this formula:
Here's the result:
If you like, you can also use a Product List element and show the total at the end of the products. We've got a guide here explaining How to access and use the Product List field.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi pixeltavoworld,
Thanks for getting back to us. If you want to get the total of your dropdown list, you need to add an operation in between the added field in your form calculation widget. Please check the screencast below:
I need to move your additional question about the color of your dropdown list to another thread. You can click here to check that out.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi pixeltavoworld,
I have cloned and reviewed your Form Calculation widget and it looks like you have added an extra + at the end of your calculation as shown in the screenshot.
Since there is no form field after it, this is causing the issue. Please remove it and your Form Calculation widget should work properly.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
