    Formatting for text and text boxes of embedded forms

    Asked by Kristin  on April 15, 2015 at 09:51 AM

    I am using Hippo (Drupal) software and have attempted to embed a form in our page AND link out to a form.  In each instance, The padding surrounding the text/instructions and the text box will not format correctly and the text extends past the text box, the text box dimensions do not adjust to the size of the webpage space and the box cuts off at the edge of the page.

    This is even a problem when I open the form in a separate tab.  Previously, the problem seemed to be an issue with the browser (Chrome) and then I made some additional adjustments and the problem is now visible in Firefox as well.

    How can I adjust the size of the text and text boxes to fit into a webpage?  I've used column width and it doesn't appear to change anything even when drastically shift the size of the boxes (from 75 to 10).

    Here is the form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50973854719974

    The form was embedded in this page listed below, now it is linked through the right nav. menu to pop out.

    Hello Kristin,

    It is caused because of the text box & text area with you have set in your form. To solve this problem, please go ahead and inject the following custom css code in your form:

    label#label_32, label#label_40 {

      width: 535px !important;

    The following guide should help you on how to inject custom css code in form:  http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    Hope this helps.
