Stripe Credit card information required when the amount to pay is zero

I have a coupon code that allows for clients to get a free product, but it still asks for credit card info even when the payment balance is $0. What can I do to adjust this? I could make the field not required, but then that would allow those without the coupon to purchase/register without paying which is not what I want.

I see that you are using Stripe payment gateway to receive payments on your JotForm. As I test the integration with payable balance as zero, the form submitted without asking for credit card information. However, this feature works when the payment field is not set to required. But when there is a product selected from the list displaying payable amount will not allow the user to submit the form even if it is set to not required.

So, you can make the product checked by selecting required option in the wizard forcing the user not to deselect the product.

Please see the demo form below :

    Coupon codes : 100 ($100 OFF), 50 (50%o OFF), 25 (25% OFF)

Could you try clearing the browser cache by following the steps provided in the guide below :

Hope this information helps. Let us know if the issue still persists. We will be happy to help.

Kiran, can you confirm whether this works for Stripe Subscriptions?  With subscriptions, there is no product with a "required" field.  I tried my own test and found that even when the subscription price is discounted to zero, the credit card is still required.
