Docusign widget description says account is not required but asking for a username on the form
- bquirkAsked on April 20, 2015 at 04:19 PM
I just added the DocuSign widget to my form because I need a secure, legal legal signature. When I test it I get an error saying that something can't be retrieved from the server.
Also, the widget makes it appear as though the signer needs to have a DocuSign account. Your page says that signers do not need an account. Please clarify.
Thanks.

It is not required to have a docusign account to sign the document. However, the field being displayed on your JotForm is to enter the name of the user who signs the document and his email address only.
The error that is displayed on your JotForm seems to be related to some issue with the docusign integration. Please make sure that you have used the correct integratorKey and TemplateID which may be causing the issue.
Please let us know if you need any further help in this regard. We will be happy to help.
Thanks.

I agree with bquirk that it is confusing the way it is titled and displayed. Can we change the "user name" to "Your Name"?

At the present the option to change the labels is not available, i have submitted this as a feature request to our developers.
We will keep you posted on the development

Please check the JotForm DocuSign Widget: https://www.jotform.com/blog/244-Introducing-the-JotForm-DocuSign-Widget
The title says now "Full Name" instead of "User name". Let us know if you have more questions.
