What are PayPal "Incomplete Payments" and how are they processed?

    Hi,

    Why are they incomplete?

Will they complete themselves without me doing anything if I check back later?

One of the "incomplete payments" submissions I did in fact get an email notification about and can see the money.

Another one I haven't received anything. Why is there a difference?

Do I need to "complete" the payment myself by clicking on that button?

What does clicking on that button technically do?

Hopefully you can answer all this for me to make sense of it. But being able to talk to someone would be ideal. :)

Incomplete payments are logged when some one who submits your JotForm and didn't make the payment after redirected to PayPal page.

These incomplete submissions need to be processed manually either to view/delete or complete the submission.

Yes. The incomplete submissions need to processed manually. Completing the submissions from Incomplete payments will not process any payments that were pending, however they are displayed in the normal submissions view and email alerts set on the form are triggered normally.

Please refer to the following FAQs of PayPal Incomplete Payments that can help you in answering other questions you may have.
