Styling the button in the Filepicker widget doesn't work.
I note on the submit button ... it goes to a button style thing in the Form gallery
Not so with the Filepicker button.
It doesn't go to a button style option.
Can you have a look at this please ... not on my forms ... on your own forms.
Can we have access to a button style gallery ... its nice to choose one ... rather than having to make it up in one's head beforehand

For the most part our widgets are limited to the styling options included for that widget. I did notice that the "Ink File Picker" widget does indeed include several options for the button style:
Is there a different file widget you are using that does not include this option? If so, I will be happy to request that our widgets team add the feature. This does not sound like something that would be too difficult to add depending on the widget.

Yes ... but you have no visual of the buttons anymore ... whereas before you could select from a palette of ready-made buttons.
Now you have to go through them blindly to see what they look like!
When you select the filepicker field in your form ... the button style option is available in the toolbar above the form. But it leads nowhere.
It is a broken option.
Could I suggest that the button styles palette is reinstated please ... as it was before

I checked the toolbar option and it does indeed simply open up the designer.
The options menu for the field does allow for the selection of buttons styles but the toolbar option does not. I will forward this to our development team to have a look. Though I am not sure if they will be able to implement a visual selection of buttons, in the mean time, you can still use the ones available under the widgets options menu.

That is what I am doing ... but the old method of seeing the buttons was more practical.
Hope this can be dealt with.

Can't edit the filepicker button in the Form Designer ... no visual buttons to choose from anywhere.
The dropdown in properties is Neanderthal ... can't see anything. We used to have a nice visual display. All gone!
What's with the button style in the toolbar ... just left their to waste people's time was it ... or has no one looked at this since I posted on it.
Any chance of a quick fix?

The file picker widget can indeed by styled from the designer. Double clicking on the button will give you the appropriate field ID:
Changing the "color" property will change the font color, changing the "background" property will change the background color.
There is still no update as to restoring the previous menu with predefined buttons, however, if there is something specific you are looking for, let us know and we will be happy to help get things styled accordingly.

That's just not a user-friendly workflow for me.
I'm just too busy.
I just want to choose from a variety of buttons like I could 4 years ago.
The requirement is a no-brainer.
Could I put in a Feature Request like I did 6 months ago ... a button style gallery for the filepicker button
It makes sense ... it is a button.

I will request this feature once again, though since it wasn't added back the first time, it may not be added back this time. If you do need any assistance styling the button until there any updates, let us know and we will be happy to help.
