Recreated - Email Notification Issue on Test Email

    Hello,

I ran into this yesterday on one of my forms and thought it was the title that was displayed incorrectly in the email set up.  My email address is in by default and works great on all newly created forms.

But there was one that Jonathan was able to clone for me that I have used as a template.  Somehow when I use this template by default it does not send a notification to me.

I looked at the screens and included a screen shot of what says "Notification" on all the created forms but it says "Notifier 1" on the cloned form?   Is this why I don't get the emails for these cloned forms?

    Hi, realestatecoach,

The Notifier 1 and Notification are the names of your notification emails set on your form.

Here's how you can edit that. (Please see images below)

    Then,

Once you have clicked the "Reply-To and Recipient Settings" button, the window below will show.

You would be able to edit the name of the Notification to something that would remind you to where that notification will be going to.

If you want to make sure if you have set up your email notification correctly, just follow the steps above and see to it that the fields are properly filled out accordingly.

By the way, I would recommend for you to test you email notification using Preview and submit your form instead of using the Test email option.

I hope this helps. Should you be needing any further assistance, please feel free to let us know and we will be glad to help you.

    Thank you for using JotForm.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks Mike,

I am still having trouble with the cloned forms.  They don't like to send right away unless I delete the default Notifier. But then it doesn't tell me what form was filled out.

    Hi, realestatecoach,

I'm sorry if you're still having troubles with your notification emails. What I would recommend for you to do is make sure every notification are labeled/named accordingly for each and every form you have on your web page.

You may like to try this idea. (Please see image below)

So, when you receive a notification email, here's what will show.

I hope this helps. Again, if you need further assistance, please feel free to let us know.

    Thank you for using JotForm.

    Kind regards,

    Hello,

I am having the same issue as well.  First, when I change the recipient email, I select to receive a test email and it uses my jot-form profile email.  However, even with this.. I never receive a test email.

I have tried to change the notifier, etc.,  followed the instructions above and nothing.  Thanks
