    Can I update a hidden field using Update a form field conditions?

    Can I, in the Conditions Wizard / Update a form field value, update a field that is hidden?

    I have three fields on my form, only one of which will be visible to the user depending on a previous choice. I would then like to copy their response to the relevant field into a fourth (hidden) field that will be used in reports rather than showing the original three fields only one of which will include data.

    I have tried to set this up but my fourth field only seems to populate if it is visible.  Is there a way to populate a hidden field?

    Also, if a field is hidden (by hiding it in properties) can that field be shown in reports? It seemed to me that it could not.

    My workaround was to hide it using a condition that was never met. Is there a better way?

    Hello Charlie,

    Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement. You can add condition to update a value of the hidden field. Here are the steps you should follow:

    #1. Add a normal text box field in your form.

    #2. Hide it by clicking on the "Field Field" in the properties drop down.

    When the form is submitted, the value you have set in the hidden field conditionally will be saved. This hidden field will also be displayed in the reports as well. I did test all these scenario and it seems to work as expected. Please check the screenshot below :
