I would like to see this feature added back in. The "mandril" option is not an option as we need the "Sender email" to be the same as the person filling out each form.
We have setup order forms in JotForm. We use "Base CRM" and can send/receive emails in Base, but we cannot do that without the users email being set since all form emails are coming from JotForm instead of the individual user.

Actually, you can do this after setting up Mandrill SMTP to your account/forms. When setting it up, make sure to select the email field as the "FROM E-MAIL" address. Your configuration should like the following:
Save the changes and the form should now start sending you an email from the actual email address of the person filling out the form.

I'm sorry. I thought that you have already tried the Mandrill SMTP method to bring back the "From E-mail" option in the configuration because that is already provided in the original thread.

OK, I've got this setup but if I try to setup another notification I get this error:
"Error occured please try again: firstname.lastname@example.org is already defined!"
SIDE NOTE: "occurred" is misspelled.
I need to setup several forms, and need to setup 2-3 notifications for each form.

You should be receiving this error message while configuring the email address with Mandrill SMTP. It probably means the email ID is already configured to send emails using SMTP. To add another notifier, you need not to configure same email ID with SMTP credentials again. The email ID once configured to send emails using SMTP, you can just choose the email address from the list on any form and any notification.
Also, you can find the configured list of SMTP email address from Sender Emails in your Account section.

OK, I think I understand. I can see why this "From Email" option is confusing for some users. I understand your reasoning for incorporated Mandrill for this feature, but I wish there was an easier way.
