Cannot download .pub file that was uploaded to form. Receiving Access Denied XML errorAsked by oshmanfamilyjcc on April 30, 2015 at 01:45 PM
We have been using this form without any issues, but in the past day or 2, we stopped being able to download .pub files when someone uploads them. We do have that as an accepted file type, and it has worked until now.
Please help! this is a file type that we need to be able to access
Edited to add: To specify, I am talking about when we get the link to the file in an email notification. This is a necessary way for us to access files. From our IT team: We are getting an access denied error. I am not familiar with how they create it but by reading the error it seems like they need to adjust the rights. Can you let them know what is happening so they can fix it. It’s not on our end if we can open other .pub hyperlinks
cannot download uploads file type
I believe that you are referring to your recent received submission from Scott Anderson for the JotForm titled "Program Submission/Change".
I am able to replicate the issue with the uploaded file. If you are referring to any other link, please let us know.
Let me forward the issue to our next level support team to take a look. You'll be posted through this thread once we have any update on the issue.
Thank you for getting back to me. Yes, that is exactly the one - the submission from Scott Anderson with a publisher file attached. Apparently this happened with another form submission last week, but the person who had the problem can't track down the email receipt (we just get too many).
If you can let me know what the next level support team says I would appreciate it very much.
Your concern has been forwarded by my colleague, Kiran, to the Next level of Support Team. I can assure you that you will be receiving feedback or you will be contacted by them through this thread once they have come up with a solution to resolve the issue.
The link to the download file is now fixed. Thank you for reporting.
If you have other questions or concerns, please do let us know.
