I am glad that it is possible to create form on your desktop and fill out on the phone. Our "Mobile Responsive" widget allow access to view form on mobile devices, please drag this widget to your form and test your form on mobile phone, it should work. Review the following screenshots with Mobile Responsive widget inserted into the form.
Please let us know if you need any assistance on this, we would be happy to assist you in any way.
i have a question in regards to the mobile responsive form.
I am sure you guys know that know the best websites that rank with google and the full responsive sites ( site that display on desktop and resizes on mobile) .
I guess my question is and it is for tracking purposes. is there a way to tell via your forms whether the person that completed my responsive form is on a mobile or tablet device or desktop.
I think that is essential to know .
Please advise and if you dont feel i am being clear i can explain further
You can use our form analytic tool to view data for various forms and also to tell on which devices they were accessed.
You can access the tool in this URL http://www.jotform.com/form-analytics/
ok cool there is no widget or anything that can give me that info a hidden field with each submission whether it is mobile device or desktop
Unfortunately we do not have such a widget available, the form analytic actually gives data on each submission done on the form, the response section with a tick shows that the user submitted data using the form up-to the end.
I have moved your request to a different thread which you may follow via this link: http://www.jotform.com/answers/602020. I'm sorry if I have to do this, we are trying to answer only one topic per thread, I hope you understand. We will attend to you there shortly. Thank you.
