Not getting emails from Jotform when someone fills out a form

Asked by mkgmt on May 01, 2015 at 02:54 PM

I was  getting emails up until 4/29 and now nothing even though people are filling them out.  I tried forwarding them to another email and still nothing.

That is because your email address is added to our bounce list for the following:

Reason(s) : smtp;521 5.2.1 : (DMARC) This message failed DMARC Evaluation for an AOL Domain. For more information please visit http://postmaster-blog.aol.com/2014/04/22/aol-mail-updates-dmarc-policy-to-reject/

I have already removed your email address from the said list so you should now receive the form email again for new submissions. But to prevent this from happening again, you would need to make sure that Reply-to email is configured to your forms. For example:

I have already set this in the current form. Please do the same to the others if you are using AOL email for the forms.

I would also suggest adding noreply@jotform.com to your contact list in AOL so to make sure that form emails won't be filtered as spam in your account.

Lastly, if the above don't work, we recommend setting up an SMTP from Mandrill:

Or by setting up an SMTP from your hosting provider or from AOL itself:

Please contact us again if there are any problems.
