Is the number of options in a Dropdown menu limited?Asked by gustavocostacarvalho on May 05, 2015 at 04:47 PMGood evening,in div thanks and after
I have a dropdown menu with nearly 4500 options...every time I save the form after editing it and return to it in order to correct someting, some of the options in that dropdown menu I cited has gone...What can I do?
I am sorry to hear th dropdown menu is not working for you due to size limitation.
I haven't checked how much the values are but I did checked it randomly and see that out 6000 option values the form lists it is only 2619 values.
I think if it is possible for you to split the data into multiple dropdowns, that would possible helps.
I am not sure how many records a dropdown box can possibly display. A creating a ticket is created already about this issue, to our development team, however there is not a time frame for them to have it solved.
