How to validate user with the password they have submitted earlier?Asked by murray on May 10, 2015 at 08:32 PM
I wish to use an embedded JotForm to collect name and email, pass it onto MailChimp (worked that out ok)
Then get them to add a password and upon submission of the form access to a protected page that has embedded videos.
They can come back to the video page whenever they want by using their email address and the password they have previously selected.
Is there a tutorial for that process?
If so please advise where I might find it and if I can create such a thing in the entry level membership of your service.
Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve your requirement.
Please be noted that it is currently not possible to validate the data from your form's submission records. Though it is not allowed to add a password field in your form but even if you add it by changing the label to code/key, it is not possible to validate the user next time with the saved code/key.
If you just want to password protect your form, it is possible to achieve your requirement with a little workaround. Please take a look at the following thread where I have explained this step by step: http://www.jotform.com/answers/417268
Hope this helps.
