Downloading Jotform Submissions
- raiseonlineAsked on November 16, 2011 at 09:57 AM
Hi,
Is there anyway to link jotfom to our excel file? Basically, I go to your website, download the excel file for submissions and copy the records into excel quite often to get the most updated list.
Is there anyway, I can download the submission much faster than login and going into submission excel, copy and paste.
I would like to link submissions to our excel file to have all the time the most updated list if possible.
Many thanks

Hi there,
Yes, you can export your form submissions into Excel spreadsheet. Just go to the submissions page of your form the look for this button:
We recommend that you regularly export a copy of your submissions to serve as a back up copy of your submissions.
We hope you find this information useful. Thank you for using JotForm!

Hi,
I think there is a misunderstanding. I have been downloading as an excel file. Is there any quicker way to export excel file from jotform?
I want to write a Visual Basic script to download excel file from jotform rather than doing this manually.
Thank you

Hello,
I believe this may be of some use to you.
Click on your form in www.jotform.com/myforms/
Click the Reports icon and then Add new Report
Select Excel Report, Click Next, Select the fields you want from your forms on your spreadsheet. Optionally give it a title of your choosing. Click Next.
Here you will be given a link, that you can use for accessing the an excel report of your forms submissions quickly.
Hope that helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
