I have a dropdown box with sets of values. When a selection is made, i want to check if the value selected is equal or greater than the value in another field. If it is, then it will show ok status, otherwise, invalid status.
Right now there is no greater/less condition for the dropdown box.
For the "Greater Than" and "Less Than" option to show up, you need to use a "Number" field. You then use the field tag for the second field to compare the two:

I understand that it needs to be a Number field. However, I need a dropdown to limit user's entry. Can a dropdown be a Number field?
My apologies, by number field, I meant an actual number field, not a dropdown:
Though the greater than less than comparison cannot be used on a dropdown field, you can use the dropdown selections to populate a number field, then compare the number fields. I just setup on quick condition:
