Customers not always being redirected to the Custom Thank You page

    We sell some products online thanks to the Payment Tool along with PayPal. We have created a Thank You page in our site and redirect our customers to the Custom URL. We're tracking our website performance by means of Google Analytics and we identified that the number of orders we get doesn't match the number of times the Thank Your page is visited. At first we thought there was a problem with the configuration of the Goals in Google Analytics, or the placement/loading of the snippet in the website, but recently we found out that when the payment is made thru PayPal, after the transaction is successfully completed, there is a link which the customer should click to be redirected to the Thank You page.

    How can we skip this and force the redirection?

    I am sorry, but there is no way to force PayPal to redirect users to a page automatically.

    This is by design of PayPal. We can only make a suggestion to where the users should go next upon completing their purchase on PayPal. We provide your thank you page as this suggested page, but it is entirely up to PayPal users to follow the link or not.

    If it is form analytics that you are looking for, please note that you can see the analytics regarding how users are interacting with your forms by using our Form Analytics tool.

    Thanks for your prompt reply Boris. We're also checking with PayPal.

    Regarding Analytics, we're more interested in the eCommerce revenue tracking. As we sell products thanks to the form, we would like to know the revenue of each product, etc.

    Is there any way for doing that?

    I have taken a look into this, though I must admit that I'm not very familiar with eCommerce in Google Analytics.

    We do have a Google Analytics widget, but one of our customers mentioned that it didn't do all the eCommerce tracking that they wanted it to. Can you please check if this widget does what you are looking for? (How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form)

    Could you kindly let us know if the Google Analytics widget is able to collect the data that you are looking for, or if one of our remaining widgets can suffice as a substitute.
