User of my form is asked to enter the number zero as a part of their id. However, the digit does not show up when the form is reviewed before submitting. This is confusing my form users.

Please let me know how i can make the digit show up when the form is reviewed?

I believe that the issue is in the number field that is used to collect the My identity card or passport number. The issue is that numbers are generally shown without the leading zero.

For example, if we were talking about "010 dogs", we would not write it as 010, but rather as "10 dogs". The form preview applies the same logic to number fields, and leaves out the preceding zero.

In order to fix this, I would advise you to replace your number field My identity card or passport number with a regular Text Box field, and set its validation to allow only numeric characters.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

    With kind regards,

    Hi Boris,

Thanks for this. Can i just ask if I change as your suggestion now, will there be any influence on the database of the form? I meant whether the new data will be put in the same column in Excel file extracted or else?

I have cloned and tested your form and after submitting my cloned form I created Excel report. If you set your text box filed to be Numerical like my colleague has suggested inside of Excel values inside of it will be the same as values that are entered inside of the form. However if field is not Numerical values form form e.g 007 will be shown like 7 inside of Excel.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
