Getting errors in required fields even after filling them out

    Hi there,

We have a health form set up for our summer camp that parents need to fill out. It has been working fine, but since this weekend, people have said that when they get to the end of the form they get an error and are told that they didn't enter a birthdate (which they always have) and the form vanishes entirely. It's a multi-page form and highly frustrating for these parents who've spent lots of time filling it out.

Two of the people having this issue were using Chrome. Could it be a glitch with the browser?

I can't see anything wrong, and I especially don't know why it would start doing this all of a sudden when the form had been working perfectly well. Any idea?

    Thanks!

It's possible that there's a code conflict between your website and the form.

I see you are using the default embed code which is wrapped in <script> tags. I would recommend that you use the iFrame embed code instead. Here's a guide on how to get the iFrame: http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code. When you use the iFrame code, any other scripts or external sources that are outside the iFrame tags will not affect your form.

Do let us know if that works.

    Thank you.

I think I'm using the Wordpress code. When I use the iFrame code it gives me huge boxes of either white or gray space above or below the form. Is there a way to fix that? Then I'd happily use the iFrame...

There is an error in console which might be related to the issue. A bug report ticket has been attached to this thread.

You can try adding a Birth Date Picker widget field instead of the DateTime field to see if it makes any differences. Hide original 'Child's Birthdate' field to keep the old data.

We will let you know if we have any updates on the bug report ticket.

    Hello,

The issue has just been fixed. So that you might use the Date field again.

Thank you for letting us know

    Kind regards
