Form and photo upload - do they stay connected - can I use jot form to accept submissions or dropbox?

Hi, I would like people to be able to complete a form and upload an image with the form (the two need to stay connected).  Is it possible to have people upload to a dropbox account and have the form and image stay as one or can I keep everything together if it uploads to your system.  I was just wondering how this would work.

Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Mary-Jane,

You can submit your image and form  submission to dropbox by integrating dropbox with your form.

Unfortunately we do not have a way of syncing a file uploaded to dropbox directly at the present.

The best approach will be to integrate the form used for submissions to dropbox so that a copy of the submitted data is synced to your dropbox account.

Please refer  to this guide for further instructions

Hi, thanks for your speedy reply.  Is it possible to upload directly to jot form keeping the two together?  If I got it to upload to you then would the form and the photos come in separate files for example?  How would I see it - as a list of forms and a file of multiple images?  Thank you so much.  I appreciate your help.

The submission is first sent to your JotForm account:

While viewing your submissions, the files uploaded along with the submission will be available.  The submission data will contain a link to the file itself.  Deleting the submission will also delete the file upload.  The two are combined.  You will see a list of submissions, clicking on the submission will then show you the files uploaded with it.

When uploading to dropbox, after the submission data is placed into your JotForm account, a PDF copy of your submission data will be sent to dropbox and file attachments will be separate files in the same folder.  So you will have a PDF of the actual submission data and the actual files in your Dropbox account.  These will be placed together in a folder.  The folder names can be set during the Dropbox integration setup.
