What happens to registered sub account users if I downgrade?

    Hi,

We have an annual conference with just under 1000 attendees in January that requires 8 users to access the various forms needed to make the conference work.

From October to January, we need your Economy plan. The rest of the year we need an administrator, treasurer and membership person.

If we downgrade from Economy to Premium, or if we drop the membership person and just have 2 users under the Free account, what happens to the others? Can I pick the ones to stay active and fire them up for that time period?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Upon checking your account, I see that you are already in "Free" plan.

If you have downgraded your subscription plan, the number of sub account users will also be reduced, and others will be removed in your list. But, these accounts are not deleted, they were just simply removed from the list of your sub account users in the main account, the shared folders are also removed from them. You can still organize or manage your sub account users and select to whom you want to share the forms. Here's a guide on that: http://www.jotform.com/help/232-How-to-Share-Forms-with-a-Sub-Account-User.

I hope that's clear. If you need more information on this, please let us know.

    Thank you.

How do I control which users are removed from the sub account list? Do I have to re-connect the forms for those sub accounts when I bump back up to a higher plan?

    Hi,

Apologies, regarding the sub account users being removed when you downgrade a plan, that I'm not sure, could you confirm if after you downgraded the other sub account users were removed? If we will be basing the number of sub account users from the current subscription plan, they should be reduced or removed.

Currently, there's no option to set what sub account users to stay or remove when you upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan. But, you can easily remove or re-add them in your list.

If you would like, I can forward your concern to our developers and see if they can have a more customized option for this, but this will be more of a feature request and I cannot guarantee that this will be implemented anytime soon. It will depend on our developers current workload.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Thanks! Please forward this as feature request. I would like to be able to rank or number the sub-accounts so that they are deleted in a specific order as a downgrade is chosen.

This would allow mission critical accounts to be saved while others are discontinued.

We do not delete sub-accounts when you downgrade. It is just that you will not be able to add any additional sub-users since you will be over your limit. And, since you will have limited submissions, your sub-users will also have a limited submission limit.
