I can't change the font from white to black on my form

This would be the area that the client fills in when they fill out the form.  It is currently in white and I need it in black.  I currently have a work around in that I have changed the fill color behind the text to a color so the white can be seen, but it is not the look I want for this form.  I did find a You-Tube video that helped, and it looks like I am missing some options.  I don't have the font options listed below at all.  I have looked and looked.  What am I doing wrong?

Please try using the form designer instead since your form has specific colors selected for textboxes and dropdown and this is why the general setting is not affecting them.
