    How to masked input text similar to password type input

    Asked by Allan Woolway on June 14, 2015 at 04:55 PM

      I think we are getting close. For some reason the Collapse method did not work. If I use a link to go to the code, then it should go to the form and the entire form should show as read only -  not be able to edit the data. The idea is, I create the record, and let other people look at just my one record.

      Also, each record will have a different owner and a different password.

      How can I make it so the password shows up as **********, when in read only mode. I only want it in edit mode, if the record holder (know by their email address), types in their password.

    Hi Allan,

    I assume you were referring to your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/51642117122140

    and you wanted to masked the password textbox input.

    Please try injecting this CSS code to your form

    { -webkit-text-security: square !important; }

    It worked on my test form
