Please tell me how to ensure that my form (when filled out by someone and submitted) is sent to 3 people. I've followed instructions multiple times regarding the notifier link adding emails - and still nothing works. this is very, very, very frustrating. You also have instructions/comments from back in 2010 that clearly do not apply to the process now - i suggest you "edit" what is relevant and NOT.

I'm sorry to hear that your having some trouble setting up your form. We'll try our best to help on this matter.
The guide for adding multiple recipient addresses is found here: http://www.jotform.com/help/39-Send-Notifications-to-Multiple-Recipients. We also advise our users to open their own thread so that we can better assist them, we do not delete threads as they are opened by other users and is used as reference, so you might find some advises way back 2010. You can either check threads that are more recent or you can open a new thread (that would be better).
To test the email notification for multiple recipients, I would advise that you manually open your form in preview, fill it out and click submit button.
If you are using the "Test Email" button in your notification, I believe it will only send the notification to your JotForm account email address.
