I've added a few text boxes on various forms and each tine I try to use the textbox controls i.e. like these in this form B, Underline, text colours etc, these do not function at all in my form. The only ones which work are font and font size. As said I've tried a few different forms and it seems the same.
To get around the problem, I manually edit the text and html in the heading T button.
I'm using internet explorer version 11. I guess I'm missing something obvious so apologies if I am..?

To confirm, you want to change or style the labels of your text boxes?
If that's the case, you can style the form using custom CSS code under the Form Designer Tool.
You can also check the CSS codes here: http://www.jotform.com/help/75-Customize-your-Form-using-Custom-CSS-Codes.
Here's a sample CSS code that I used:
font-weight : bold !important;
text-decoration: underline !important;
color: red !important
Here's how it looks like: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51743675271964?.
