paypal receipting - no vat/tax shown

Hi - I know this is more of a paypal issue than a jotform issue but is there any (easy) way where clients on payment could receive a proper receipt with tax information on it rather than the basic paypal receipt that shows no tax details at all? Paypal say they don't do it (a major issue) so what is the easiest way to get this sorted (other than emailing a proper receipt out which defeats the point of having a prepayment)?

I believe I understand right now that you want to show clients a simple receipt template with tax information.

This would be for your paypal integration with your form, correct?

As far as I know the only to do this is via an autoresponder by adding the tax option that would show up in your products. However, it seems you are doing prepayment authorizations and don't want to have to email it that way until later on.

It seems to me that this is too basic and you want something more in-depth to display the appropriate tax information possibly?

What all are you trying to show in the tax|vat receipt?

if clients pay say £48 for a job then they get a paypal receipt saying they have paid £48. In reality they have paid £40 plus 20% VAT so £40 plus £8 VAT - as we are registered for VAT clients, especially businesses require a "VAT receipt" - which paypal sadly do not do. Something very simple seems to be taking me a long time to resolve...

Unfortunately, it seems like as you have mentioned, it is more related to Paypal.

Would it work if you will be creating your own invoice? We have app integrations like FreshBooks and Invoice++ that allows you to setup an invoice for your order forms. Could you check if those would work?

I create my own invoices - I'm just trying to minimise admin/paperwork - someone pays, gets their good and an automatic receipt emailed. Which paypal does, but without any vat information. Anyway - i've found a solution - a nifty one too - Quaderno - links to paypal - add their snippet of code to the jotform paypal bit and it automatically emails out receipts with vat information. thanks for your help everyone
