    Paypal redirect NOT working

    After paypal processing, user selects "go back to ..." from paypal, which sends back to a jotform page showing "Please wait while redirecting".


    It sits there and does nothing.


    I have selected a custom thankyou URL in the form.


    Can I make a suggestion, and that the redirect go directly to the custom URL from Paypal, and skip the jotform page. My customers do not know anything about jotform, and thet shouldn;t be sent to a foreign domain upon return from a secure payment.

    The URL you used on the Custom Thank You URL is not accessible. It is a password protected page. That's proabably why it cannot redirect there.

    It might also be because it contains a question mark in the URL.

    Please use one of those URL shorteners such as bit.ly to create a new URL that does not contain a question mark and see if that helps.

    The password protection is not relevant, jotform should redirect in any case.

    Re the ?, I'll try that but I still do not see the relevance. A redirect should not care about the validity of the URL it is redirecting to. If it does then you are somehow processing the URL, why would you do that?

    I still think that having my future customers go to a jotform page right after they make a paypal payment is not good for business confidence, they should not know about jotform as they are not dealing with jotform. Jotform should stay out of the way of the transaction.

    This is a serious issue and if it can't be done I will have to ditch jotform for taking orders.
