We're using JotForm to collect proposals from organizations for funding. The reviewers who'll look over these proposals won't need to see everything from the full proposal, just certain questions. I cloned the original form, and went to upload the data for the fields we want.
However, in the import data wizard, there were no columns for the matrix (I used a numeric text-entry matrix for our budget table).
How can I import the budget data from the matrix into the new form? Or is there another way I can easily create a review copy of the form--removing some questions from the PDF export without losing the data from those questions? (We need a copy of the full proposal for our internal records.)

Unfortunately, it seems like it is not possible to import data from an excel or CSV file to a form with the Matrix field. That field is not supported, yet. But, I'll forward this concern to our developers to have it checked and see if they can make improvements.
For now, if you want to choose what to display in your PDF submissions, you can do that by disabling the form fields in the settings before downloading.

We will update you as soon as we hear any news regarding the compatibility of the Matrix field in the Import App.

I unchecked the fields I didn't want to see, then selected PDF (and I tried both the individual record from "Get PDF" and the top and the entire database from the download menu), but the things I didn't want to see still showed up. Am I missing a step somewhere?

Oh, never mind... It seems to be working now. I guess I just had to wait a few minutes after unchecking them? It's not instantaneous, but it's working.

It seems like you have already resolved the problem. Sometimes, the changes doesn't appear as immediately without refreshing or reloading the pages. But I'm glad everything is working now.
Regarding the Import App not accepting Matrix fields, we'll update you on this thread if there's any news.
