Share form results to Social Media from the Thank You page

Asked by AMS on July 16, 2015 at 01:41 PM

    Hello -

Has a feature been added that will allow someone to share form results to social media from the Thank You page?

I'd like to be able to be able to have responders submit the form and then from the thank you page share that they completed the form (for example it would show on their Facebook page, "I just took this survey [insert link]"

    Hi AMS,

I don't think there's any, but a workaround can be made. Follow this steps:

    a. Access this website to generate the link and message (Twitter): http://www.sharelinkgenerator.com/

    b. Copy the generated URL in the "URL Only" section

    c. Hyperlink the URL in the thank you message page. Assuming that you have selected "Thank You message" in the thank you page settings.

I have created this sample form: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/51965164263964

I keep running into threads where users are asking a very simple question and being given all kinds of workarounds that don't fulfill what they are asking for. If I am reading the question correctly, it is the same question I have been asking myself. How do we enable people to share their results to their facebook page. Not just to share the link for the quiz. Or to share their results to the quiz creators page.

Has there been an effective workaround for this issue?

    Thank you
