    Hi there,

    I love your forms and I am using them on my facebook page, in emails and direct links.

    But I can't use them in my wiki. Wiki's powered by the Wikipedia software are becoming more and more popular!

    The software is called MediaWiki:

    You are sure familiar with Wikipedia but there are many other websites using this software, like my Bali-Wiki.

    Is there any possibility to make an extension for MediaWiki sites?

    Maybe even Wikipedia could be interested in using it ;-)

    Looking forward to hear from you!

    Best regards,

    Have you tried enabling raw html to your MediaWiki site? This can be done by adding the following code in the LocalSettings.php file that can be found in the base directory of your MediaWiki installation.

    $wgRawHtml = true;

    After adding it you can include your form in an article page using the iFrame code from JotForm. Make sure that the iframe code is placed after <html>  and before </html> tags.

    To get your iframe embed codes:
    1.  Go to Setup & Embed
    2.  Click Embed Form
    3.  Choose iframe

    From my tests this worked on the latest version of MediaWiki, you can find a working example of it here.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey milz,

    thanks a lot for your reply! This was exactly the answer I was looking for! Is there also a way that I can use jotform form to create articles?

    For example: I use this form:

    and create a page like this: Bali-Villa

    This would help a lot because most students don't know how to use wiki's but they are able to fill in forms ;-)

    It would be complicated to use Jotform to create articles in MediawWiki you would need advanced knowledge in PHP and MediaWiki API to achieve this. You may use the Send Post data feature to post submitted data using the form to MediaWiki however there are still a lot of tweaks that needs to be done to have the collected data posted as an article.

    You may visit the following site for a list of extensions that are available in MediaWiki:

    There is also a forum available for MediaWiki users which might be able to help you with tweaking of MediaWiki codes:

    Ah one more thing...

    @miiz: I am using the mediawiki extension htmlets so I don't need to protect my pages to use html code.

    For me it is the better solution compared to setting $wgRawHtml = true;
