How to generate QR codes based on fields data on a from and use it in the email?

I was told that the QR code could be added to the notification email. I am trying to set up an alternative to a printed membership card for people who carry phones and we are seeking to purchase a scanner.

Key to this strategy would be to generate a QR code per form, that holds the form number and names and ages from the form.

A simple bar code would also be ok.

Is there a way to do this please? a thread in the support forum appears to confirm that it is not possible.

Maybe I am not understanding what to do with the QR code widget but I am
aware that it is available. My query is how to capture the specific data
from the form into the QR code. I need names ages & form number. I then
need to add this code into the auto responder email. It does not appear as
a field and there is no way (that I can find) to configure the QR widget to
capture information from the form. The widget seems only to allow
    redirection to a url.
Please advise how to capture the information as we need to be able to scan
the QR code for an entry system. Thanks.

Actually this can be achieved and quite simple, just not directly through the jotform.

What I would suggest is to take a look at the following thread to see more about this:

Basically if you follow the same steps, you will end up with the QR code that is generated based on the email address that is added on the form.

This is however easily changed to not only include the email address, but instead, to include the details you are after: form number - full name - age

I would however recommend adding some customer specific ID such as submission ID, or their email to the QR as well, since that would allow you to get all of the data of that single submission without having duplicate entries (for example 2 people filling out your form using the same full name and being of the same age).

Do note that this approach uses service, but if you visit their website you will see that they offer some nice features as well, while to my knowledge the QR codes are for free (best to check on their website).

If you have any questions, please ask them on this thread and we will help you set it all up.
