    Unselected check box items takes up the space in the email body when you edit the submission

    I have also noticed that with each edit submission the spaces between text seem to multiply:

    Hi,

    May I know which part or where does this problem is displaying?

    Here's a test form that I did:

    Initial notification that I received.

    Here's the notification after I've edited the submission. The spacing seems to be right.

     

    One of our developers is updating the text editor in the email notification, there might be some changes on it.

    I also noticed that there are problems on your conditional logic. There are conditional logic where the fields are deleted, I would advise that you check them and update your form to make sure that they are working as expected.

     

    It would also help us if you could share a screenshot of the problem for us to better understand it. We'll wait for your response.

    Hi,

    I'm currently investigating it. At first, I thought it was related to the email client software you are using but it seems like it more related to the check box item of the "Location of your event".

    It seems like when you edit the submission, the check box items that were not selected where being submitted as blank, which actually takes the space.

    Let me check it further and get back to you. But I believe this is most probably the culprit.

    This is the initial submission:

     

    I edited the submission using the edit link that I have, I didn't change anything in the check box item, this is how it was outputted.

     

     

    This means that the check box items that were not selected took up the space in the notification for the edited submission.

     

    In you case, I believe this is the one taking up the space:

    If you have other check box fields, this is also happening on them.

    I will forward this to our developers to have it checked and see if they can do anything about it. We'll update you on this thread when we hear any news.
