it's impossible to get past the second page, it also takes excessively long to navigate from field to field.(on a mobile)

I'm currently testing my image survey on my Samsung S2.  I'm using the Dark Tech theme and while I can navigate from page 1 to page 2, when I click "Mr." in the drop-down at the top of page 2 it fails to accept the 'tick' and loops back to page 1.  This may simply be theme-related.

If I may add, while my previous Survey Monkey survey was not as attractive and easy to set up as yours, the transitions from field to field, and page to page (on a mobile) where quick and without issue.  This does not seem to be the case with JotForm.

    EDIT:

I've now tried to complete the survey using two different themes ... it's impossible to get past the second page, it also takes excessively long to navigate from field to field.

    EDIT 2:

I've also tried a non-mobile theme but have the same problem.  Basically completing the survey on a Smartphone is a nightmare and many will simply not bother.

Please try adding the mobile responsive widget to your form:

its impossible to get past the second page, it also takes excessively long to navigate from field to field Screenshot 30

    It should fix the problem:

Please try my cloned version in your mobile: http://form.jotform.co/form/52015319552853

Thank you for your prompt response.  I tried the cloned version on my S2, without success (although it now fits nicely on the screen)  When I get to the bottom of the "Personal Info" page and click "Next" I get taken back to the 1st page (actually it goes back to the 1st page on its own before fully loading, but also if I click "<" in Opera Mini and then "Next").

It's quite odd, I tried replicating the issue on Samsung S2, but it did not happen: http://form.jotform.co/form/52015319552853

Have you tried clearing browsers cache?

Okay, I've complete the survey successfully on the S2 standard browser (the only issue is the CAPTCHA at the end, this doesn't show if "Load Images" has been turned off to reduce bandwidth usage).  Is there any way to show the CAPTCHA as a text-based 'image', there may be respondents who don't know how they must turn "Load Images" back on, thus opting out of the survey.

I've checked the Opera Mini cache, that's currently on "0.00B".  The only other option Opera Mini presents is one to "Clear Data".  I haven't yet tried again using this browser.  The CAPTCHA image will no doubt also be an issue, unless "Load Images" is on.

Another question, which many others are probably also asking, how do you offer such a diverse and fully-functional free "Starter" version when others impose question limits or charge a monthly fee?

    EDIT 1:

I've installed the mobile widget and upgraded Opera Mini to the latest version (10.0.1884.93721).  When I try to click "Mr." on the second page there's a delay and the survey loops back to the first page.  It seems there's a compatibility issue between the survey and Opera Mini.  My phone is the Samsung S2 GT-I9100, running Android 4.1.2 (the latest available update).  I'm concerned others also running Opera Mini will have the same problem.

I have tested you form on opera mini 8 with an emulator and it navigating correctly to the subsequent pages using Next & Back  buttons.

Try using the latest opera mini browser.

As for the captcha try using of of our available alternatives

    Drawing Captcha

    PlayThru Captcha

    Tic Tac Toe Puzzle Captcha

The problem is not navigating from page to page via the "Next" button, but rather with the form navigating back to the previous page after trying to 'tick' "Mr." on page 2.

    EDIT 1:

The CAPTCHA alternatives above are all images which don't display when "Load Images" is unchecked.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to replicate the problem on the "Mr" option navigating you back to the first page.

May I know if the form is embedded on a website? Or you are just using the directly link?

I also noticed that it seems like you have a couple of questions on each of your post, it would be better if you open separate ones so that we can better focus on one topic per thread. I went ahead an opened a separate thread regarding the "Free" or Starter plan inquiry, you can refer on this link for that: http://www.jotform.com/answers/616548

    We'll wait for your response.

Charlie, I'm using the upper link in "Embed Form".  I've since replaced Opera Mini v. 10.0.1884.93721 with Opera v. 30.0.1856.93524.  The response is now a lot quicker and I can complete the survey without problems.  Thank you for your assistance in trying to find a solution to this issue.

Is there any way to delete my test submissions as they now count towards my monthly quota?  Does the quota reset at the end of each month, or one month after the joining date?

    Hi,

Glad to hear that you have managed to resolved the problem in your end.

For your concern regarding the counter. I see you are using the secure link of your form, I have reset your SSL counter back to "0".

Also, just an FYI, please do take note that for "Free" plans, you are allowed 100 regular submissions, 10 SSL submissions and 10 payments received. Please check our pricing page here: http://www.jotform.com/pricing. Please do take note that when you reached any of the limits, all of your forms will temporarily be disabled. If you wish to continue using the forms, you will need to upgrade to a higher plan OR you can wait for the submission counters to reset, which happens every 1st day of the month.

Please also do take note that the Upload Storage space does not reset, it is the total space allowed in your account as a whole. To free up the upload space, you need to delete submissions with file uploads on them.

If you have other concerns or questions, I would recommend opening a new thread so that we can focus on one topic per post.

    Thank you.
