Will you please let me know if the responses are on your server and then released to us when there is an upgrade or will I need to resend the request Asked by Yvonne on July 23, 2015 at 09:09 AM

I sent 100 email's out with a created form from your website under the free account.  I received back 10 replies from the 100 recipients.  Will you please let me know if the other 90 responses are on your server and then they will released to us when there is an upgrade or will I need to resend the request to the other 90 recipient?

    Please explain:

    100 Regular submission?

    vs

    10 SSL submission?

What happens to the submissions that are over 10 with the free account? Asked by pbp on July 22, 2015 at 02:44 PM

I thought that the free submission was 100 replies.  Now I know it's 10 but I already sent out my 100.  What happens to the other 90 replies?

You are currently on the Starter/FREE plan, which means your subscription is allotted with:

    100 Regular submission

    or

    10 SSL submission

    10 Payment submission

    and

    100MB storage space

I see that you already have reached the max limit for SSL submission (10).

You can now only have 90 regular submission left within the month. All the limits, except storage limits resets to zero(0) every 1st day of each month.

If you exceeded any of the maximum limits allowed, the account will be in Overlimit Status, and it will not be able to accept any incoming new submissions. Forms will not be able to be submitted unless the overlimit status had been removed.

If on overlimit status, you can either upgrade to the next higher plan to have expanded submission limits (this will take effect immediately). Or, wait for the next month, when all submission limits will be reset again.

Hope this answers your inquiry. Let us know if there is more we can assist you with.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You have a couple other threads with the exact same question.  I  personally answered one of them.  Please keep your requests to a single thread and we will address them as soon as we can.  Here is one of the responses to your other threads:

None of the threads are answering my question!

My question is I sent out 100 emails to get 100 replies back.  Will I get 100 back or now its limited to 10 back because of the account being free?  What happens when someone sends the form back and we reached our limit?  What happens to the FORM?

The form will not be able to be submitted. It will instead be replaced with a message in place of the form that explains that the form is over its quota.

    Aaron,

So please tell me when you get my email and click on the link my form opens, someone fills it out, hits submit, and then they get a message that my quota is full?  Or JOTFORM holds the replies?  What happens?

The link from your email would take the user to the page where the form would normally be. In its place would be a message notifying the user that the form is over its quota. Since the user is not displayed the form they will not have the ability to submit it.

So the only ones I got back went through the rest didn't?

If UPgrade would I be able to downgrade back to free again?

You have only received 11 responses for your form so only 11 people have filled it out.  If people do not fill out your form, there is no response to be collected.  You can receive 89 more regular submissions this month before having to upgrade.  If you do need to upgrade, you can downgrade back to a Free account without issue.  Your forms and submission will be available as long as you are below your limits.

    David,

Thank you for your reply.  So what is an 10 SSL and why was it full at the limit?  So the 100 I submitted was received by the recipients and only 11 responded?

If you were previously over your limit and your forms were disabled, your form would not have been able to accept submissions.  Yes, of the 100 you sent out, you only received 11 complete responses so far.

    David,

Thank you for your update!  Will you please tell me what an SSL is?  Why there is only 10 and how does it affect the submissions?

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer and is a method for encrypting data sent to and from the server and your browser.

Expanded information on SSL can be found here.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security#SSL_1.0.2C_2.0_and_3.0

In regards to JotForm SSL is the method used to encrypt the data being sent to the server from your form. On the free plan you have a quota of 10 SSL submissions per month. Once you have reached this quota you will no longer be able to send anymore SSL submissions that month.

The new month starts at the beginning of the next month in the Gregorian calendar. The next month will start on August 1st, 2015.

You can send out as many emails as you would like. But you are only permitted 100 submissions of your form per month on the free account.
