Auto responder with conditions not working

    I have two auto responders with conditions that are not working.


    the Notification email is ok, but not the auto responders


    I have filled in a test form and have not received the auto responder email.  I have checked my spam box.


    My form is under "New for 2012 - book online."

    Can you please try changing the Sender Email of those autoresponders to ?

    Let us know if you have any better success with that.

    Thanks, that now works. But the form is now JotForm. Ideally I would like
    our specific email address & name here

    Is this possible?

    I have to say that JotForm is great - we are upgrading to Premium in the
    next couple of weeks to cope with all the new bookings we are hoping to get!

    Hi Jo,

    Yes, you can actually change it to your email-adress. But, if the problem happens again after that, my suggestion is to use "" as Sender email because it improves the delivery ratio of the emails.

    Hello Jo,

    Just to wanted to add, that the reason the autoresponder appears to not work when you use your own email address as the Sender Email is because of how some email service providers identify and handle what they deem is spam email. 

    Mail that is sent by a different domain (e.g from the Sender Email domain (e.g your @heckington [dot] com address) can be deemed as spam by some email service providers spam detection algorithms. Unfortunately, there isnt a whole lot we can do about that and as my colleague states using will help give your autoresponders the maximum chance of being delivered to their intended recipients.

    I believe the developers are working on something which would provide a solution to this, that is to give our users the ability to route their JotForm emails through their own email servers. I cant say exactly when we are a likely to see that feature implemented but I would be hopeful of seeing it at some point in the New Year.

    I hope that serves as a explanation as to what is happening with your autoresponders emails when using your own email address as the Sender Email.
