    iframe form - problems with passing parameters

    Asked by webgroup on December 14, 2011 at 11:06 AM

    I have a form within an iframe.

    I need to add a hidden field which self-populates with the name of a product (from the product page).

    I also need to add another parameter: ?nojump

    Here is my code:

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//www.jotform.com/form/13454537794?Item=<?= $product->name ?>&nojump" frameborder="0" style="width:450px; height:320px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    For some reason the item title is not coming through in JotForm OR on the email - it's just blank. If I remove the second parameter of ?nojump then the product title still does not populate the form.

    It was working earlier (auto-population) but now, even when rolled back, it fails to populate.

    Can you help?

    Try that:

    <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//www.jotform.com/form/13454537794?item=<?=$product->name ?>&nojump" frameborder="0" style="width:450px; height:320px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    Keep the variable names of the parameters you are trying to pass into the form lower case.

    .....and Bingo was his name-o!  :)

    Something simple, as always!

    Many thanks for your help. JotForm is great and the support is clearly second-to-none!

    Good stuff.

    If at all possible, link us up your website with your JotForm forms integrated into it when you are finished its development. It seems like you have worked some interesting ideas into it and i'd like to see the finished site.

    (maybe post it on the javascript conflict thread )

    Thanks!
