How do I change a field so that it accepts both letters and numbers?

Currently, the field is set up to receive letters only.

To change the validation settings, click on the field, then click on the little gear in the top right corner of the field.  This should bring up the settings menu.  From there, change the validation to alphanumeric:

That should allow for both letters and numbers to be entered in the field.
